Mu Phi Epsilon--Lambda Chapter--Ithaca College

Welcome!

Mu Phi Epsilon, a coeducational, international music fraternity, has as its purposes the advancement of music in America and throughout the world, the promotion of musicianship and scholarship, loyalty to the Alma Mater, and the development of a true bond of friendship. The Lambda chapter upholds these purposes in our many service projects, recitals, and educational music programs. Michaela and Jarrett

The Lambda chapter, housed at Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY, holds many service programs, such as the Ithaca/ Longview Intergenerational Choir and arts programs, like Arts Across Campus.

This year, in addition to participating in the Inter-Fraternity Council's Arts Across Campus, which benefitted two of our very own Greek Life members hurt over the summer, we held our own fundraiser for Michaela Bushey. Michaela was injured in a swimming accident in the summer of 2010, and the Lambda Chapter organized a benefit concert in her honor to raise money for her recovery. In addition to their musical talent, the Ithaca College Community contributed over $800 on a single night toward Michaela's recovery. Candidate Formal Recital

We give two recitals each semester and promote ourselves as a friendly and helpful organization with a strong campus presence. We are also the designers of merchandise with the original Ithaca Conservatory of Music logo from when our institution was founded in 1892.
